CIMAS means “peak” in Spanish which is what we believe all people have the potential to reach. We believe that you reach your CIMAS when you have become the best that you can be, and can now work to help others become the best that they can be as well.

The CIMAS Foundation began in 2001 as Pioneer Circuits, a high technology company in Santa Ana, made Youth Leadership and Development an integral part of their mission.

Pioneer Circuits, Inc. is the worldwide leader in the high technology printed circuit board industry, serving primarily defense and aerospace contractors to the government such as NASA/JPL, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, Rockwell Aviation, GE Avionics and many more. As a major player in the technology of the future, Pioneer Circuits gives back to the community by inspiring the leaders of the future to grow and reach their highest potential. Jim Lee, CEO of Pioneer Circuits and philanthropist, started the foundation with a vision to help provide our youths with the tools necessary to aid them along their chosen paths. Pioneer Circuits has successfully reached out to communities in Long Beach, Santa Ana and Cambodia to make an impact on the students’ education.

OUR JOURNEY

The CIMAS Program seeks to help our youths to reach their maximum potential and inspire them to give back to their communities.

The CIMAS Foundation began in 2001 on a local level within the Orange County community. It has since grown to be the umbrella foundation that supports other non-profits that help students in Long Beach and Cambodia. Upon this success CIMAS would like to continue to grow and use its framework throughout the world.

We hope that the online tools of today and the future will help to attract young students and professionals to the program and to be inspired to start their own program. We want all students to feel that they have a safe space for productive networking, and will be expanding our services to include internships this year.

With our scholarships and internship program, we hope that the CIMAS network will pass along the support that they received to the future generations and continue the CIMAS legacy beyond just this foundation alone.
